Graduated from fine arts school ENSAD and cinema university Sorbonne, Vincent is now a filmmaker based in Provence, France. He spent more than ten years in Asia as a founding member of Almaz Media, a a boutique production company, and worked on international productions in over 15 countries. He has worked on various documentaries, TV commercials and corporate videos, which he mostly shot as a DoP / Cameraman but also directed, produced or conceived art production for. His music video Ninh Tho for Go Lim and his documentary Red Over the rainbow won awards at International Festivals ZIFF and GOSH!


On top of his work for international film productions through Indochina Productions, he has worked for BBC World news, Associated Press, Channel News Asia, RTS, VTV, french Ministry of environnement, OECD, UNICEF, Discovery Channel, WWF, French National Theater, Le Monde, Dior, Bottega Veneta, Swarovski, INSEAD, Meero, Getty and numerous art institutions and festivals.

Latest projects:

  • The Mandalorian, season 3, in production for Disney +. Location scout, drone operator for Vietnam filming.

  • The general without stars, in production. Co-director, DoP. A feature documentary co-produced by Almaz Media and Mway Films.

  • John McCain: For Whom The Bell Tolls. A Kunhardt film Productions for HBO. Vincent was the DoP for the Vietnam part of the feature documentary

  • Offside in Saigon, in production : Co-director, DoP. A feature documentary co-produced by French production company Bellota Films, portraying the fate of African foootball players stranded in Saigon. It was officially selected at the Leipzig pitch session with the Crossing Borders Documentary Campus.
     

  • Red Over the Rainbow: Director, DoP. A 27" documentary about the rise of the LGBT movement in Hanoi, following the Vietpride celebrations over the years as well as portraying a variety of generations and genders involved.The documentary is currently selected by different festivals in Asia, Europe, South America and Africa
     

  • Bargain Brides: Director of Photography. This 45" documentary was just aired on Channel News Asia in March, raising awareness on the human trafficking of women to China.
